The Foundation Office is responsible for the operating and administrative affairs of the Symphasis Foundation. As part of project management, it evaluates eligible charitable projects and looks into possible partners. It presents the project applications to the grants committees of the individual subfoundations or to the Board of Trustees for decision-making. It monitors the execution of the projects being sponsored - in the case of special projects also reviewing implementation on-site - and manages payments of the amounts granted. Moreover, it is responsible for determining the investment strategies for the assets of the Foundation and the individual subfoundations, for liquidity management, and for accounting.
